Both chapters are very nice...
Prophecies is longest campaign, but also a bit slow (especially leveling, max armor and max attribute points). Factions is shortest campaign but fast paced so i do like it a lot... and it allows you to play Alliance battle. |

Prophecies will offer not much, basically just a few very important skills and a mission chain, not much in the way of extras or farming.
Factions offers 2 new classes, a bunch of decent skills, lots of farming areas, and some elite areas, and IMO the most breathtaking scenery of any of the expansions, particularity Shing Jea. |

Personally i find Prophecies a bit confusing and is quite long to complete it and if u have nf u wouldn't really out on any speical events like Wintersday.

If you don't plan on making any new chars then go for Factions, but if you want to make new chars then go for Prophecies. Because presearing is amazing.

You already get all core profession from Prophecies in your current campaign, get Faction if you want the other two profession (Ritualist and Assassin). Faction has many new elites and non-elite skills as most good elite skills from Prophecies already exist in all campaign at core skill.
You could consider "Complete Collection ~??25) as single campaign cost ??10-??15 each. You still have 2 stand alone and an expansion campaign left to think about. Last edited by furyow; Dec 20, 2008 at 06:06 PM // 18:06.. |

But, I'd say your best bet, since you already have experience, is to get the Eye of the North expansion instead of either campaign. |

Try and get the Factions Platinum Edition - it contains both Factions and the Game of the Year Edition of Prophecies. It also contains the Bonus Mission Pack.
Unless you can find the games discounted somewhere, odds are it'll be the same price as the individual editions were. |

prophecies has the best story out of GW, it has mroe depth, a more diverse setting but factions has alliance battles, 2 new classes, quick leveling in kaineng easy access to other campaigns, but its shorter.
if i were you i'd go for prophecies cos its longer it'll keep you occupied if you save up for factions which is a bit short. you could also get the platinum edition? or if you want more features get factions, but people are right about pre-searing being great. |
